IADYS, has developed the Jellyfishbot, a robot which is designed for all operators seeking clean up and maintenance solutions for water bodies. It measures 70x70cm, a single operator can easily handle the robot thanks to its light weight, around 20 kg. The Jellyfishbot can also navigate autonomously or with a remote, by using a LiDAR for detecting and avoiding the static obstaclesof its path.
// PRODUCT OR SOLUTION DESCRIPTION
The Jellyfishbot is designed for sampling and collection of not only macro-waste and oil, but also ninvasive organisms such as duckweed, micro-particles thanks to specific nets from 150μm. Equipped with a probe and combined with a sonar, it measures water quality it can also carry out bathymetric surveys, up to 10m deep, to detect underwater obstacles and create seabed mapping for marinas.
// UNIQUE SELLING PROPOSITION
It is a real Swiss Army knife for marina operators who can use it both to clean up waste and oil on the water and to continuously map the seabed to know when dredging is needed.
// DIFFERENTIATION
The Jellyfishbot is a small and light robot compared to all other solutions on the market. It was designed for marinas to reach hard-to-reach areas between boats and under ropes along pontoons/ docks.
// COLLABORATION EXPECTED
From this exhibition, we hope to increase our brand recognition and awareness. And of course we also hope to find new partners/distributors who would market our products.
