Altreonic-Kurt.energy is bringing the novel carbon-based hybrid powercapacitors to market. We develop customer-specific battery packs. Applications range from a few cells for a swarm of satellites, over energy storage and UPS to very large and heavy full battery-electric of hybrid vehicles.

Our powercapacitors address many issues of conventional lithium-ion cells and improve on them: safety, power capability, fast charging, wide temperature range, simplicity (no BMS, no active cooling), robustness, etc. The technology enables sustainability and practicality for many applications. Lifetime ranges from 10 to 30 years with close to zero maintenance.

Our powercapacitor batteries have a much lower cycle life cost and last 10 to 20 times longer than traditional batteries. They are the ideal solution for a demanding marine environment with applications like remote data collection, signaling equipment, backup-power as well reliable propulsion for small ships as well as large ones.
