The Rabdan Marina aim to enhance the marine infrastructure and transport network in the emirate of Abu Dhabi. The Project aim to support Abu Dhabi’s government’s vision of becoming one of the ten greatest maritime cities in the world. Rabdan Marina includes a boat slipway, 20 wet and 22 dry berths for boats, parking for 18 cars, waterfront area and buildings including F&B outlets. The project aims to attract and support a variety of community activities, increase the availability of marine berths for the general public and cater Abu Dhabi’s leisure boats community.
DESCRIPTION OF SMART & SUSTAINABLE SERVICES
All buildings have been designed to a 2 Pearl Estidama standard to include: high performance building envelope enclosure and glazing system, optimal North-South building orientation, external shading of windows, premium efficiency ECM fans for fresh air units and fan coil units, high efficiency HVAC systems, LED Lighting with occupancy sensors and daylight control, EnergyStar Appliances, low flow and flush fixtures to reduce potable water, GGBS cementfor blockwork and structural concrete to reduce embodied carbon, locally sourced building materials with high recycled content. The user experience will be simplified with digitalisation of berth booking system and registration and inspection of upcoming services.
